Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – God is Looking for Ways to Help Me

We began the week claiming the promise that God is looking for people He can bless. God wants to help and bless you.

Here’s the promise.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. – 2 Chronicles 16:9

Make these confessions.

  • As a follower of Christ, God is my strong support.
  • He is on my side.
  • I will never be overlooked or forgotten in His eyes.
  • God is standing with me to protect and provide for me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

As a committed Christian, God is looking for ways to support you, bless you, and strengthen you. He is always on the lookout for those who will trust in Him.

Tuesday – I Am Content

On Tuesday, we saw how we could live in contentment through Christ in us.

Here’s the promise.

Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. – Philippians 4:11

Make thises confessions.

  • In Jesus Christ, I am content.
  • I will not seek meaning through what I own or have.
  • I find purpose and satisfaction in Christ.
  • I am content in every situation of life.

In Jesus Name
Amen

You can be content today because you know God will provide all you need. You Can be content today because you know your happiness isn’t found in what you own or have, but in your relationship with Christ.

Wednesday – I Hold Onto the Promises of God

Midway through the week, we accepted the command to hold onto the promises of God. Every promise of God is worth holding onto because God is faithful to fulfill every promise He has made.

Here’s the promise.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:23

You can claim God’s promise because you know He is faithful to do what He has committed to do.

Make these confessions.

  • God will fulfill every promise He has made.
  • I hold fast to the hope I have in Jesus Christ.
  • My hope is not based on my strength, but His faithfulness.
  • I am confident that what God has said, He will do.

In Jesus name,
Amen

As you hold onto God’s promise, He strengthens and upholds you. You can rest assured what He has promised; He will do.

Thursday – Jesus Walked in My Shoes

On Thursday, we saw that because Jesus walked on this earth, He knows and understand the problems and struggles we face.

Here’s the promise.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. – John 1:14

Make these confessions.

  • Jesus is the Word of God, and I can place my trust in Him.
  • Jesus was all of God and all of man in one body.
  • I don’t have to reach up to God because He reached down to me.
  • Because Jesus walked on this earth, He knows the struggles I have.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Because Jesus walked on this earth, you can be confident that He understands your weaknesses and struggles. You don’t have to “try” and reach up to God; He has come down to you.

Friday – God is Doing a New Thing in Me

We concluded the week with the promise that God wants to do a new work in your life.

Here’s the promise.

Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19

Make these confessions.

  • My God is the God of new beginnings.
  • He is doing a new work in my life.
  • Father, thank you for all you will do in the days to come.
  • I give you tomorrow for Your glory.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

God wants to do more in your life than you can ever imagine. He wants to grow your faith, deepen your love, and work through you as never before.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to all who would follow Him. If you are born again through faith in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit is in you and leading you today.

That’s it for this week’s review. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you.
